Plant Monitoring







A display area is made up of modules on the Sunny Matrix. A module consists of 4 positions. The

Sunny Matrix can display a character at each of these positions. You can compile display areas

with different lengths of these modules and positions. The Sunny Matrix modules are always

numbered from left to right, from top to bottom. The numbering is required for compiling the

display areas.

Display areas are already prede󹙍ned before shipping the Sunny Matrix and noted for you on the

con󹙍guration sheet included in the delivery.

Normally every line with modules is prede󹙍ned as a display area. The following example shows

the normally prede󹙍ned display areas of a Sunny Matrix with 2 lines, with 4 modules, each.

The following display areas are to be de󹙍ned:

• A display area is to be saved as  and made up of the following modules: module 1 with

positions 1 to 4, module 2 with positions 1 and 2.

• A display area is to be saved as  and made up of the following modules: module 2 with

positions 3 to 4, module 3 with positions 1 to 4 module 4 with positions 1 to 4.

In the “De󹗿nable displays“ area select [7].



De󹙍ning the display area:



Activate the 󹙍rst selection 󹙍eld and select the following settings in the drop-down lists:

“Module“ , “Start“ , “Length“ .



Activate another selection 󹙍eld and select the following settings in the drop-down lists:

“Module“ , “Start“ , “Length“ .



Select [Save].



In the “De󹗿nable displays“ area select [8].



De󹙍ning the display area:



Activate the 󹙍rst selection 󹙍eld and select the following settings in the drop-down lists:

“Module“ , “Start“ , “Length“ .



Activate another selection 󹙍eld and select the following settings in the drop-down lists:

“Module“ , “Start“ , “Length“ .



Activate another selection 󹙍eld and select the following settings in the drop-down lists:

“Module“ , “Start“ , “Length“ .



Select [Save].


